One incredible fact about Vlisco that perhaps you didn't know is that each Wax takes two weeks to make, and they go through an astonishing 27 treatments both by machine and by hand! 

These techniques and skills have been amassed over the course 170 years of design, this wisdom forms the basis of Vlisco's patterns and design structure. Vlisco's story began in 1846 when founder Pieter Fentener van Vlissingen started the company in the Netherlands. 

Today Wax Hollandais are adored by women across Central and Western Africa.
